FOR COVID19

PREAMBLE

Your health and safety are vital and that is why we have developed a specific Health and Safety procedure to reopen the studio and make sure that you are coming in a safe space. All measure to keep you safe are implemented.

• We have taken and trained all staff in Cleaning Skills for Covid-19.

• Our studio is deep cleaned several times during the day and at the opening and closing. Classes are timetabled to allow cleaning between classes

• Hand washing station and sanitation are available

• We implement distancing measures within the studio. Class sizes and numbers are limited to 15 to account for 2 meters distance. We have a system of distancing in place to allow footfall traffic within the studio reception and studio to maintain social distance spacing

• Reception area will be reopened but we will allow only one parent at a time to come at the reception. Other parents will be asked to queue outside.

• HSE covid19 posters are in place within the studio

• We follow the government regulations to reopen our space

• The following procedures might be updated in the future in line with new government regulations.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DANCERS’ PARENTS

Zona Dance Company will facilitate registration and terms fees payment by offering some online solutions (online registration, paypal payments, bank transfer, etc). That will help reduce the crowd’s issues to keep social distancing in place.

We will also ask you to give priority to phone or email inquiries. For any other urgent matter we will be happy to help you at the reception desk, or if you cannot make an online registration or payment.

Before coming at the studio, please check your temperature. If you have any sign of fever, cough, breathing difficulty, sudden loss of sense of smell or taste, flu-like symptoms or any other symptoms that can make you think of covid19, please do not come at the studio. When you have symptoms, Government recommendations are to: self-isolate to protect others and call your GP for a COVID-19 test.

If you do not have any sign of Covid19 and that you must come at the reception area, please make sure that you bring with you your own pen if you need to use one.

Reception area will be reopened but we allow only one parent at a time to come at the reception desk. Other parents will be asked to queue outside to wait for their turn.

At your arrival at the studio we ask you to clean your hands with the hydroalcoholic gel available in the space. We recommend you to wear a mask.

Only students can come inside the studio space. Parents must wait outside of the building if they wish to stay during their child’s class.

Make sure that you do note leave any of your personal items when you leave the building.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DANCE STUDENTS

BEFORE YOU COME AT THE STUDIO

Please check your temperature before coming to the studio. If you have any sign of fever, cough, breathing difficulty, sudden loss of sense of smell or taste, flu-like symptoms or any other symptoms that can make you think of covid19, please do not come at the studio and let Jessica know by phone (086 822 2189) or by email ([email protected]). When you have symptoms, Government recommendations are to: self-isolate to protect others and call your GP for a COVID-19 test.

If you do not have any sign of Covid19:

Make sure that you are wearing your dance outfits before coming to the studio. Dressing rooms will not be opened

Make sure that you bring with you at the studio your own: dance shoes, bottle of water, food, mat, papers and pens. All your items must be carried in one bag and must be left in that bag at all time when you don’t use them.

I would recommend you, in addition to the studio specific measures, to bring with you a mask that can be use if needed.

WHEN YOU ARE AT THE STUDIO

If weather allows it, main door will remain open, so you do not have to touch, main door handle. If not possible, a staff member will be in charge to open before class and reopen after class.

Only students are allowed to come into the dance studio with their teacher. Parents who wish to stay during the class must wait outside the building.

Once you are in the studio, please use the hydroalcoholic gel to clean your hands before you do anything inside.

Leave your bag with your personal items in the designated area in Studio 2. Do not exchange your personal items with the other students or teachers. Do not leave any personal items outside of your bag during your class. Use them when needed and leave them in your bag after you used them. Bins are available to throw anything that must be trashed.

When you are at the studio we need you to strictly apply governments recommendations:

Distance yourself at least 2 metres (6 feet) away from other people. Do not hug, shake hands, etc.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing and discard used tissue safely

Wash your hands well and often to avoid contamination. When you arrive, when you have a break, etc.

Do not try to practice dance movement with the other dancers when you cannot keep your social distance.

WHEN YOU LEAVE THE STUDIO

When leaving the studio please make sure that you don’t leave any personal items at the studio. Any item left will be trashed after the class.

Please clean your hands before leaving the building.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STAFF MEMBERS

When remote work is possible, we will give priority to this option.

A cleaning training for covid19 is provided to all staff members in order to help maintain space safety at all time.

Dance spaces is cleaned before and after class, this is the responsibility of each teacher to make sure that the space is clean and safe. If you notice any issue, please make sure that you contact Jessica to update procedures in place. A training is provided by Zona Dance Company to help you with critical check points before students are in the studio. We provide any cleaning products and equipment to make sure that we can undertake cleaning checks at any time.
